Meet the Team

Do you want to have a say in your Food Service Program? Speak with your Food Service Manager in any of the locations about your comments or concerns. In addition, you can be involved in the decision making process about new meal programs and ways to improve your food service program. We value your input! Comment Cards are a quick and simple way to make suggestions and to get your question answered.

Members of the Food Service Management Team are always available during meals to help you. Get to know your Food Service managers, and feel free to share your comments, suggestions or questions. Caitlin Lazarski, General Manager

Caitlin has been with Sodexo since September of 2006, when xhe accepted the position of Food Service Manager at East Hartford Public Schools in Connecticut.  Caitlin then held the General Manager position in Monroe Public School District in Monroe, CT from 2007-2009 before relocating to Newburgh, NY.  Caitlin has been the General Manager for Mount Saint Mary College Dining since February of 2010.

Caitlin was born and raised in Newburgh, NY. Caitlin received a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from the University of Delaware. After completing her dietetic internship with the Florida Department of Education in Tallahassee, FL, she then returned to the University of Delaware to complete her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition.

As the General Manager, Caitlin is responsible for all aspects of Mount Saint Mary College Dining Services’ operations, including The View dining facility, Hudson Cafe, Jazzman’s and catering services.

Caitlin is a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association. She is also ServSafe Certified in Food Safety by the National Restaurant Association and has participated in Food and Physical Safety Audits for Sodexo.

Caitlin lives in Newburgh with her husband Ben and 2 1/2 year old son Jacob. Caitlin enjoys cooking, running, working out, the beach, and spending time at with family.

 

B.Scott Schweizer, Food Operations Manager, CEC

Scott joined Sodexo as Food Operations Manager at Mount Saint Mary College in September of 2013.

Prior to joining the MSMC Dining team Bruce spent the last six years as Sodexo General Manager for Danbury Corporate Center, CT and Pearson Education, NJ.

Scott's background as an Executive Chef for Sodexo Corporate Services in the tri-state area includes fine-dining, prestigious board room events, high end cafes, and extensive catering events for the following clients: BMW NA Headquarters, Boehringer-Ingelheim PI, Guardian Life, IBM Research Yorktown and IBM Briefing Center with the foundation from Marriott Hotels & Resorts International.  He received his culinary training from Paul Smith's College in upstate NY and continuing education at the CIA in addition to having received his Certified Executive Chef (CEC) with the American Culinary Federation's Mid-Hudson Chapter in Hyde Park, NY.  Scott has participated in James Beard Foundation Client Lunch/Dinners in Greenwich Village, and have received awards for "Taste of the Hudson Valley" Food Show Competitions.

Scott loves hiking, biking, he is an avid sportsman and an archer, he is married to his wife Lynne and they have two adult sons, Matt and Brien.

 

Kathy Reidy, Resident Dining Manager

Kathy Reidy began her career with Sodexo in 2006 as a Supervisor in Aquinas Dining Hall.  She worked here for 2 years and left in May of 2008 to work for Panera Bread.  In October of 2009 she decided to come back to Mount Saint Mary and has since been promoted to Director of Resident Dining.  The Mount is like family that was one of the driving forces why she came back.

Kathy grew in Nutley NJ and moved to NY after getting married.  Kathy has been married to her husband Michael for 18 years.  She is a 1987 graduate of Johnson & Wales University with an Associates degree in Culinary Arts.  She worked as a chef for many years until deciding to stay home in 1998 and raise her 2 children Michael, 17 years old, and Erica, 14 years old.  Kathy has lived in Cornwall for 15 years.

Some of her favorite things to do are running and gardening.  She recently adopted a puppy named Otis.

 

Alison Bulin, Catering Manager

Alison Bulin joined Sodexo as Catering Manager at Mount Saint Mary College in August of 2010. Prior to joining the Sodexo team, Alison spent her career in catering primarily in the wedding and social segment of the food industry. She has worked throughout the Hudson Valley and the New York City area for the past 20 years in such establishments as Windows on the World, Chalet on the Hudson, and the Grandview.

Alison’s love for the food industry started as a teenager in high school while working at the Kaufman Astoria Movie Studios in Astoria, New York. Here she was involved in both on and off premise catering for movie productions. Television shows and commercials. Alison received her degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from New York Tech.

Alison currently lives in the Hudson Valley with her daughter and two crazy cats.
